What has happened to Crosby & Woods Solicitors?

The Solicitors Regulation Authority has closed down the practice of Crosby & Woods Solicitors of Sussex House, 75 Church Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 2BB. This happened on 11 October 2021. Lester Aldridge is helping the SRA with the closure.

What happens now?

Crosby & Woods Solicitors can no longer act for its clients. If you were a client, you will need to find a new solicitor. You can find a list of solicitors in England and Wales on the Law Society’s website.

What has happened to my file?

The SRA are in the process of removing the files that were held at the offices of Crosby & Woods Solicitors. A further update on how you can recover your file will be provided on our website once this has been completed.

What has happened to the money Crosby & Woods Solicitors were holding for me?

The bank accounts of Crosby & Woods Solicitors have been frozen and all monies which were held in those accounts have been transferred to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and are being held on behalf of clients.
